    The HART protocol uses the Bell202 Frequency Shift Keying (FSK) standard to superimpose a modulated digital signal on a 4 to 20 mA basis, allowing the HART protocol instrument to allow bidirectional data communication without interfering with the 4 to 20 mA analog signal. SM101 series intelligent converter is an intelligent converter which can modulate and demodulate digital signals and analog signals in both directions.
